SURFACE PREPARATION

The concrete or masonry to receive the anchorage must be sound, free of dirt, oil, grease, and other contaminants and capable of supporting the fixtures.

MIXING GUIDELINES (at 30°C)

Use about 125-140 ml of water for 1Kg of Powder. For mixing use a mixer blade turning @500 to 800 RPM. Initially the mixture may appear very dry. Keep mixing for about 2 minutes and the binder will slowly dissolve and pourable slurry will be formed. At this point pour the mix in the application area. Remember to wash off all the equipment immediately.

Increasing the water content more than specified will drastically affect the final properties of the product.

Above mixing times are based on using 20°C to 27°C temperature mixing water. During usage of higher temperature water for mixing, the mixing time to be shortened appropriately. The above mixing times are indicative only. Where mixing time is critical a trial mix is recommended.

WORKING TIME

GEOCRETE - AG has an approximate working time of 10minutes at 30°C

SAFETY

The use of dust mask, safety goggles and gloves is recommended.

STORAGE LIFE

GEOKRETE-AG has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing if stored in unopened original packing, under shade in dry and frost free conditions.

USES

GEOKRETE-AG is ideally suited for

• Anchoring rails, bolts, ties dowels, reinforcing steel, threaded rods, sign posts, parking meters, street signs, ornamental steel work into concrete or any other hardened material except plastics.
• Setting appliances, machinery, processing equipment and conveyors.
• Interior or exterior applications and freeze-thaw and environments because of near zero connected porosity.
