Surface Preparation

Surface must be stable,dry, sound, clean and free from loose particles or contamination to ensure proper bonding. Clean the surface with wire brush followed by compressed air. Edges shall be prepared professionally using concrete cutting tools. Repair deep areas, holes and nonmoving cracks with GEOCRETE PR / TECHNOFIL prior to application of GEOCRETE-CR.

Mixing Guidelines(at 300C) and Application

Add about 625-700 ml of water to 5kg of powder. Mix using a mixer blade rotating @ 500 to 800 RPM. Initially the mixture may appear very dry. But do not add more water as increasing the water content more than specified will drastically affect the final properties of the product. Keep mixing for about 2 minuts. The material will dissolve and formssmooth slurry. At this point pour the mix in the repair area. The slurry has to be applied for a minimum thikness of 5mm or more. Remember to wash off all the equipment immediately.

Working time (at 30°C): GEOKRETE-CR has an approximate working time of 10 minutes at 30°C.

Hot Weather Condition: The working time will be shortened which can be marginally increased by using cold water and further extended by retarder supplied us, if required.

Cold Weather Condition: The working time will be extended which can be marginally decreased by using hot water and further shortened by accelerator supplied by us, if required.

Instruction for use

• Do not add water over recommended dosage.
• Apply only to sound, Prepared substrates.
• Mix the entire content of a single packet at one time and DO NOT USE PART VOLUME

The use of dust mask, safety goggles and gloves is recommended.
