MIXING GUIDELINES (at 30°C)

Use about 180-200 ml of water per Kg of powder. For mixing use a mixer blade turning @ 500 to 800 RPM. Initially the mixture may appear dry. But do not add more water. After 2 minutes of mixing it will form smooth slurry. At this point you may choose to hand apply or use any kind of spraying equipments. Remember to wash off all the equipments immediately. Do not mix GE0KRETE-SL when the temperature exceeds 40OC. Increasing the water content more than specified will drastically affect the final properties of the product. To ensure the performance of the product DO NOT break up individual units into smaller portions. Mix the entire content at one time.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Floors must be dry, structurally sound, clean, free of dust, dirt, wax, oil, grease, asphalt, mastic, latex compounds, paints, adhesives.

SAFETY

The use of dust mask, safety goggles and gloves is recommended.

STORAGE LIFE

GEOKRETE-SL has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacturing if stored in unopened original packing, under shade in dry and frost free conditions.

PUMPING GUIDELINES

Do not begin mixing until the application group people are ready to work. Ideally, material should mix for 2 minutes using the mixer, and be poured. Do not mix for more than 3 minutes or rewater material. Try to avoid delays between applications.
