Overview

It provides a durable, flat, smooth floor surface with minimum labor and installation time. It is pourable or pumpable when mixed with water and seeks its own level to produce a smooth, flat, hard surface.

Rapidfloor leveled surface can be ground and polished to high gloss finish after 24 hours of placement. It can be walked on after 2 hours and be coated after 24 hours.

USES

Rapidfloor is used to level floors to provide flat and smooth surface prior to installing ceramic tile, carpet, resilient flooring, athletic floors, wooden parquet, etc. It produces a wear surface suitable for commercial and industrial areas including warehouse floors, parking garages and utility areas.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Concrete floors must be dry, structurally sound, clean, free of dust, dirt, wax, oil, grease, asphalt, mastic, latex compounds, paints, adhesives. Repair deep areas, holes and cracks with TECHNOFIL (Instant Crack Filler) or GEOKRETE-PR (Rapid Setting Repair Mortar) prior to application of Rapid floor.

MIXING GUIDELINES(at 30°C)

Use about 6.0 to 6.5 liters of water for 25kg of powder. Mix the slurry using a mixer blade rotating @ 500 to 800 RPM. Initially the mixture may appear dry but do not add excess water. Keep mixing for about 3 minutes until a pourable lump free slurry is formated. At this point pour the mix application area.

STORAGE LIFE 

Shelf life 12 months from the date of manufacturing if stored in unprotected original packing out of direct sunlight, clear of ground on pallets protected from rain/moisture.

SAFETY

Use of dust mask, safety goggles and gloves are recommended. Wash off the equipment immediately as the material tends to set fast.
