Initial setting time : 20-minutes
Final setting time : 40-minutes

COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH

4 hrs : 20 MPa
24 hrs : 30 MPa
72 hrs : 45 MPa
28 days : 50 MPa

*Set time will be shortened at higher temperature site conditions and will be delayed at lower temperature site conditions

SPLITTING TENSILE STRENGTH: 28 days : 4 MPa

BOND STRENGTH TO CONCRETE: 6 MPa

SHRINKAGE: None

COVERAGE: 45 kg/m² at 20 mm thickness

OPEN POROSITY: Less than 2.5%

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface must be sound, clean and free from loose particles or contamination to ensure proper bonding. Dry clean and stable surfaces are required.

MIXING GUIDELINE (at 30°C)

Use about 225-250ml of water for per kg of material. Mix the slurry until a homogenous mix of smooth, creamy and trowel able consistency is obtained. Apply the mix in the repair area and remember to wash off all the equipment immediately. Increasing the water content more than specified will affect the final properties of the product.

WORKING TIME

TECHNOPATCH has an approximate working time of 20 minutes at 30°C. This mixing time is based on using 20°C to 27°C temperature mixing water. During usage of higher temperature water for mixing, the mixing time to be shortened appropriately. The above mixing times are indicative only. Where mixing time is critical a trial mix is recommended.

PACKING

TECHNOPATCH is available in 30 Kg (containing 3 x 10 Kg) bags

SAFETY

The use of dust mask, safety goggles and gloves is recommended.

STORAGE LIFE

TECHNOPATCH has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacturing if stored in unopened original packing, under shade in dry and frost free conditions.
